April 3rd - 7th, 2017
Monday April 3rd: Students will begin the unit by partaking in a whole-group discussion on the concepts of Photosynthesis and Respiration via a Unit Flow Chart.
Tuesday April 4th: Students will partake in a whole-group discussion, and guided notes on the difference/similarities between Photosynthesis and Respiration. Wednesday April 5th: Students will further explore the role of photosynthesis in providing cellular energy through a WebQuest. Thursday April 6th: Continuing from the previous day, students will complete the photosynthesis WebQuest. When complete, students will use the remaining time to review vocabulary for the unit on Quizlet. Friday April 7th: Students will partake in a whole-group review on respiration (as discussed on Monday). Following such, a 'Crash Course' video will be played providing further information on this concept. When complete, students will work with their groups to fill out guided notes on such. |

Tuesday April 11th: Students will complete a unit assessment, as well as a unit mastery check identifying their areas of growth and decline. |
